About the Doctor

Dr. Hector Oksenendler was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He received his degree in Kinesiology from the University of Buenos Aires, Medical School in 1967, when he was only 22 years old. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College in 1978, in Portland Oregon. He also holds a license in Physical Therapy in the State of California. Hector and his wife Susan have been living in Walnut Creek since 1978 and have raised two children.

Dr. Oksenendler main interest is in Chiroprractic trying to combine the treatments with his knowledge of kinesiology, Physical Therapy and rehabilitation. The practice if dedicated to problems of the neuromusculoskeletal system, but every new patient goes through a general physical exam to rule out and diagnose other medical problems that may coexist.

His interests besides chiropractic are history, literature and cinematography. He is the author of a play that was represented in 1973 in Buenos Aries. He has also written several short stories not published yet.
